Important Information

Check-ins are a crucial part of your Bail Bond Agreement. Failure to check-in once a week may result in legal action taken against your bond(s). Please read and follow your Bail Bond Agreement you have signed. Some clients are required to check-in at the office in person, so be sure to know the conditions of your bond. To check in weekly, you must come into the office and check in or call the office. If you have any questions please call the office at 979-821-2663. Thank You.

If an individual takes out a bail bond then disappears, the company will be out the entire amount of the bail bond. As a kind of financial reassurance, bond companies will often require a cosigner on the bond. Just like on a regular loan, a cosigner assumes legal and financial liability for the bail bond. If the individual fails to appear in court, the cosigner is legally responsible for repaying the full amount of the bail to the bail bond company. If the cosigner puts up collateral to secure the bail bond, and the bond is not paid according to the financial contract he or she could lose that collateral.

Bail bonds are not just any other loan; they are part of the functioning of the justice system. Consequently, cosigners of a bail bonds also assume a number of legal responsibilities for the individuals they are helping to bail out. They are responsible for making sure the individual makes it to his or her court dates. If the individual fails to appear for his or her appearances, then the cosigners are responsible for either resolving the misunderstanding with the courts or turning the individual over to the court system. Missing your court date can result in contract violation.
